Daily Tarot Card Reading – Eight of Arrows (Swords)

View this post on Instagram

In a bleak, barren and frigid landscape we find a woman hunter in search of sustenance in order to survive. Her mind is filled with desperation as she, along with her family that is counting on her, are in desperate need of food in order to survive. . In the snow we see eight arrows that have missed their mark and lay broken and scattered all around her. Upon close examination she realizes that her attempts to hunt her prey have failed. . Her mind is now riddled with self-doubt and she seriously considers the option to just give up. . The Eight of Arrows is reminding you that if you focus to much on the problem and not the solution you entrap yourself into inaction. Yes, you may have failed this time, but surrender is not an option. Instead, attempt to ascertain your error and then move forward, always move forward. Put your doubts and fears off to the side and simply move to the next hunting ground and complete the task that is in front of you. . Deck used: “The Wild Wood Tarot”, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews. Illustrated by Will Worthington. Card: “Eight of Arrows (Swords)” . It is my sincere hope that by bringing these energies to your attention that it may be helpful for you in some way. Daily Tarot Card Reading – Two of Earth Change (Pentacles)

View this post on Instagram

We deal with change in our life more than we realize. Everyday we see change at dusk and dawn, between rain and sunshine, life and death, and waking self and sleep. Change is a natural part of life and even though we know this to be true, we still struggle at times when it happens to us. Why do we struggle? The short answer is we resist. Yet do we resist the day and the night? It’s absurd to think so for they come and go throughout our lifetime. So do other forms of change. Everyone is unique and responds to change differently. This card is suggesting that you accept change and consider flowing with natural cycles of change rather than resisting them. Yes, this is easier said than done as doing so may affect our sense of security, but have courage. The same courage you possessed when you decided to incarnate here on earth and live as a human being. When your soul signed up for this life, it knew that change was inevitable. It is how we move with and through change in our lives that we find either inner peace or inner conflict. Deck: Vision Quest Tarot by Gayan Silvie Winter and Jo Dose. Two of Earth (Pentacles). It is my sincere hope that by bringing these energies to your attention that it may be helpful for you in some way. Daily Tarot Card Reading – The Devil

View this post on Instagram

This is certainly a difficult card to look upon however it is a card that is needed to consider now more than ever. The version of this card shown here highlights what has gone on for far more than just this “New Era”. It has happened throughout history. The unfortunate, the oppressed, the starving children lay on the floor. One child, the oldest of the group, has his eyes open and is unable to sleep and to find peace. Visions swirl in the backdrop in his mind as he considers his family and their struggles to survive. Within these symbols we see a recurring theme, symbols of power over others, power and opression over those like himself and his siblings. What has caused this lust for power to constantly seduce us throughout the ages, having us turn a blind eye to the pain and suffering we may have caused to others, especially the ones who were not fortunate enough to be born into wealthy and powerful families. I believe one reason is a simple lack of empathy. The idea that in order to get what we want we must ignore the negative impact it may have on our fellow humans. The truth is we cannot truly rise and evolve unless we have empathy for one another, the ability to put ourselves in their shoes and, at the very least, vow to not cause any direct or indirect harm to others, especially to the poor and downtrodden. This card has appeared and, after considering it, we cannot continue to go on the way we have been. We cannot claim ignorance of the impact our actions have on other nations, other races and other people. By having more of something so simple as empathy for others, we can than all rise up and create a new world, one that holds love, peace and compassion as the ideals to strive for, together. Deck: New Era Elements Tarot by Elaonore F. Pieper, PhD. 15 The Devil. It is my sincere hope that by bringing these energies to your attention that it may be helpful for you in some way. The darkness and depths of the oceans of emotions have been felt and experienced by this King of Cups. Having overcome so much emotional turmoil in his life, he has come to know peace, to feel intricately connected to life and even the cosmos. . The energy of Scorpio is strong and powerful in this card. A transformation through death has occurred and has opened the way for new beginnings for this young King. . Throughout our lives we all experience little deaths. Times when we realize we must let go of the old in order to make room for the new to appear in our lives. Needless to say these little death experiences are never easy. Just think about how much suffering will likely occur when we pass from this physical life during our death experience. In both, a natural grieving process must take place. This King, who has experienced resurrection, is here to tell you that you have the courage and strength to fully and deeply experience life and all the changes that happen along the way. Daily Tarot Card Reading – The Devil

View this post on Instagram

Wow! There is definitely a lot going on in this scene. Scary for sure. The Devil shows his lust for power and control. He raises his left arm to command you to bow before him and submit to his greatness. In his right hand he threatens you with a spiked mace which promises you pain if you resist. He shows his roots in the uncontrolled reptilian aspects of our brains represented here by five snakes making up his base. But the saddest part of this image is seeing a man and a woman who have willingly succumbed to the Devils allure and false promises. Unbridled pleasure, fame, power and control over others, the pair at his feet have been fully seduced, have resigned in their struggle to resist, and seem to have accepted their fate. Human beings have been given the amazing gift of free will. It is a power not fully expressed by the rest of life on this planet as lesser evolved beings tend to mostly go by pure instinct and their true nature. Throughout humankind’s long history, we have often succumbed to our animal, barbaric nature, committed acts of extreme cruelty, and caused massive pain and suffering, both to others as well as to ourselves. Why would we do these things if we have free will? Because we have lost our connection to the source, to the Great Spirit/God, to our higher selves, to our inner guiding lights. We seek pleasure above all else and at any cost. Food, alcohol, drugs, tobacco and even sex can all turn into addictions if we are not connected to Spirit. If we don’t courageously hold in our hearts love, compassion, empathy, kindness and goodwill to mother earth and all it’s creatures, then we are destined to follow the path set out by the Devil; one of fear, cruelty, greed, lust and power/control over others. Deck: Modern Spellcaster’s Tarot by Melanie Marquis. Illustrated by Scott Murphy. It is my sincere hope that by bringing these energies to your attention that it may be helpful for you in some way. Daily Tarot Card Reading – Knight of Cups

View this post on Instagram

Sir Galahad rides into your life today bringing the gift of romantic love with him. He is the noble Knight of Arthurian legend who searched for and found the Holy Grail. What kept him on this long and arduous quest? It was his love of Camelot and all it stood for in his heart. The promise of a place of hope, faith, goodwill and peace. . You may be seeing the reality of the world as it is right now and noticing how it seems so far removed from this idealist image. There is much fear and where there is fear present, love is hard to find. Yet there are also the most loving acts of kindness happening as well if you are able to keep your eyes open and are on the lookout for them. . Galahad reminds you that the Holy Grail is in the center of your very own chest, your heart. The heart that beats, endures and loves no matter the circumstances. Actively bring love to any situation you find yourself today. Chose love instead of fear. Shower your love on self and others. We will get through these challenging times together. We will do this by loving and caring for one another. . Deck: Legend – The Arthurian Tarot by Anne-Marie Ferguson. . Daily Tarot Card Reading – Page of Pentacles

View this post on Instagram

There is young, fresh and optimistic energy emanating from this card. Something new may have caught your attention and you are wondering if you can make this new interest grow and manifest. This card is recommending that you dive in and explore the waters. . When we learn about how the world works we do so mostly from an experiential perspective. Yes there are books of accumulated wisdom gained by others you could study but, the learning gained from these books can only take you so far. You must put your learned knowledge to the test and there is only one way to do that. You have to put your ideas in motion in the physical world. You have to take a leap of faith, go bravely forth and realize that nothing is guaranteed in life. You may fail but not from a lack of effort and commitment. If those two ingredients are there and you still fall flat, then you have indeed learned what does not resonate with you. You can then move on to the next interest that catches your eye. One that better suits you. It is in going through this process that true wisdom is gained in life and we learn much about ourselves along the way. . Deck: The Linestrider Tarot by Siolo Thompson. . It is my sincere hope that by bringing these energies to your attention that it may be helpful for you in some way. If you have any questions please I would love to answer them for you. Daily Tarot Card Reading – The Sun XIX

View this post on Instagram

The life giving and sustaining rays of the Sun fall upon our planet with grace today. The Sun in the daylight sky has always been there throughout the history of humanity. Worshipped as a God or Goddess in more ancient times, it is certain that without it life would have never come into existence on this third rock from the Sun. . When the Sun appears in a reading it is always a welcome sign. It brings clarity and understanding by shining brightly on the situation you may currently find yourself in. It also gives a great influx of energy to any project or endeavor you are currently undertaking. Take advantage of this energy to move forth with enthusiasm and good cheer. If the Sun is out like it is here in Hawaii, step outside and bask under it’s warming rays for 10 minutes or more and meditate and sense it’s warming rays shining down upon you. If it is hidden by the clouds and/or rain have faith that it is there nonetheless shining down upon us. Then go about your day filled with this energy and let it shine out from you to your loved ones and others you may interact with. . Deck: Ethereal Visions Tarot by Matt Hughes. . It is my sincere hope that by bringing these energies to your attention that it may be helpful for you in some way. If you have any questions please I would love to answer them for you.
