Day 3
To change ones self, it helps to see others as filters, instead o mirrors. For that is what we really do. Life, I believe, is filtered through us to God. Each and every one of us is connected with God. The only way to touch that connection is through our innermost feelings. Write down now the type of work you do and the stuff you have and affirm to yourself that this is not you in journal 15 day 3 (this journal entry). It is simply what you are doing or are interested in tha what you possess in order to thak better care of yourself.
Do you know what humble is? Humble is not thinking yourself above or below anyone else but equal in creation to everyone and everything else around you. When you are humble you see the world and nature as being as great as you are. You then know your ego believes you are great and wants you to prove it to yourself.
Yet, ego often appears to not understand equality, or humbleness. Your ego may think its job is to prove you are great, and in so doing must make less of everyone or anything else around you . Yet the soul knows that love is the greatest equalizer of all. So it is important that you let your soul be where you come from and the ego a wonderful servant to the soul. It is not the other way around. As much as the ego likes to be in control, and you sometimes feel it needs to be, it gets in the way of your growth. When that occurs all you have to do is tell it NO and mean it.
So as you go through your day, jot down all the times your soul tells your ego NO when it is pushing you into a direction that your soul does not agree upon. It is best when the soul and ego work in harmony for the good of the whole person and everyone else concerned.
Day 4
Another wonderful sunrise, weather permitting. Think about the kind of people you may have met who may seem strange in their ways. It serves us to understand them, but not place too much trust in them. Bless them with “Gods Love.” Don’t try to fix anyone or change them or do anything for them that they can do for themselves. Above all don’t judge them with your ego. You may get wrapped up in the lessons God blesses them with so that they may learn and grow.
A Strange Life To Me
Once I met a thief
I asked him why he stole
He said because the other guys hoarded all their gold
I asked him how he knew
Then said it wasn’t true
It’s just that the other guys had a credit or two
Once I met a liar
I asked him why he lied
He said because he was no liar and had spied
I told him he was rude
That doing so was crude
And that someone could turn around and then he’d get sued
Once I met a drifter
I asked him how it goes
He said he lived a free life that he did what he chose
I told him that was nice
Yet had he bugs and lice?
He said then that these little things was what gave life it’s spice
Once I met a con
I asked him why he gyps
He said with just a little dough he’d give me some tips
I told him I didn’t need
That I think it is greed
He said nah that’s not it, for money needs to be freed
